Urban Decay meets Glinda the Good!

Hey lovelies!! So, finally get down to my review of the second Urban Decay Oz palette! You can read my review of the Theodora palette here http://raragiggle.blogspot.ie/2013/02/urban-decays-theorodora-palette-show.html#comment-form) This palette is Urban Decay's take on Glinda the good witch and it definitely is my favourite one of the two! Its just so unlike any other palette I own, all pretty pastels!
The palette itself is a special edition of the Build Your Own Palettes, which means the eyeshadows are removable- which I think is a brilliant feature!

The palette comes with a eyeliner - Rockstar a dark purple/burgundy (which I ADORE!!!) and a Super Saturated Lip Pencil in Glinda, a light pink/nude.

The palette has 6 shadows:

  • Tornado - a rich deep purple with shimmer
  • Aura - a duo that contains a shimmering iridescent white with a blue finish & a pearly, iridescent pale white/pink
  • Magic - Pinkish purple with a golden shimmer and a satin finish
  • Illusion - a Pale champagne/peach with a metallic satin finish
  • Oz - the other duo shadow- Gold with seriously chunky gold glitter/Silver with silver micro glitter
  • South - a grey/brown metallic shadow with a shimmer finish with silver micro-glitter

  •
SWATCHY SWATCH! T-B: Tornado, Aura, Magic, Illusion, Oz, South

So that's the Glinda Palette! My favourite shadow HAS to be Aura, it will such an amazing highlight shadow for under the brow bone and for the inner corner of the eye to really brighten your wee peepers!! Also, the silver in Oz is FAB (had to give you a close up swatch of these below!)

On Right: Oz - On Left: Aura

So, what's your thoughts lovelies? Which palette do you prefer?

Also, going to try get a Look post up involving this palette and the Theodora palette, just to show how stunning these Urban Decay shadows are to wear! Comment below if you would be interested in a LOTD post!!

Thanks for reading, until next time Lovelies!
    Take care
