Benefit's RICH offering of summer lovin' & disco-licious goodness!

Hey my lovelies!
So I am back again with a quick review of the new palette Benefit has released with Matthew Williamson the - "Rich is Back" Set.

This set just SCREAMS disco & partying the summer nights away, from the groovy packaging right down to the sparkles in the eyeshadows!

Firstly I think it is a genius idea that Benefit had to partner with Matthew Williamson (who by the way you should totally check out here at this store !!)

So without further a-do let's look at what the set includes:
  • a mini tube of They're Real Mascara (magic stuff by the way!)
  • a tube of lip gloss in Inferno
  • 4 complementary shadows in Solid Gold, Feel So Teal, Get Down Brown and Disco Dust
  • Gimme Fever cheek powder
  • a small cheek brush
  • a step by step book on "how to create" looks
So, you want to know what I think of the goods?

Well, I don't even need to describe how brilliant I think They're Real is as a Mascara, I am sure at some point I have confessed my love for how it makes my lashes so so long without making them like lashes that belong to SpiderMan!

The shadows, while not being the most pigmented of shadows are easily blended & are not chalky or powdery - they can be layered to get the desired colour. One little thing I found was that there was some fall out from Solid Gold but there is glitter in it so that can be expected.

Top Row L-R: Solid Gold, Get Down Brown
Bottom Row L-R: Disco Dust, Feels so Teal
I LOVE the Inferno lip gloss!! It is a gorgeous berry red with full on gold shimmer with that divine Benefit lip gloss smell we all know & love. I love how it is a smooth, non sticky consistency.

The Gimme Fever cheek powder is a gorgeous pink with a touch of shimmer which gives a rosy flush to the cheeks - one little downside is that the brush isn't brilliant, but hey, for a teeny brush it is to be expected! And if you are getting it all in one set it is not a big deal to pack the Real Techniques blush brush too!

So, there you have it! The best thing? If you boogey on over (see what I did there?! Disco- boogey?! hehe!) to Debenhams it is still available to buy for €37

Hope you enjoyed the review!
Chat soon lovelies!

Sarah xx

  2. The price always puts me off Benefit kits but in fairness I rarely ever hit pan on anything regardless of the price, so this is a great way to try a load of different products! I agree with you on They're Real! - I've the mini tube from Elle and it's amazing stuff x

    1. They are a bit steep in price but, to be fair they have the best blushes & mascara going so I don't mind forking out a bit for them.. And sets like these are great quality & have it all!

  4. Love the packaging of all these Benefit kits, but honestly they seem to be filled with over priced samples. Still buy their blushers though, Coralista is a dream to apply.
