Hey my lovelies!
Firstly, I am so sorry I didn't finish the #SBBC challenge but I am sure some of you heard that my gran was very poorly the past few weeks..so my heart would not have been in my blogging, something I think is essential in a post so I hope you can forgive me!
But I just want to say a HUGE thank you to AM over at GirlFridays Beauty Blog for organising the challenge! While I did not complete it I truly think the encouragement helped my blog for the better!
So, this post is a quick look at some new purchases I got the last few weeks of September, start of October (I know it's late but better late than never!)
First up is the 2 lipsticks I got from the MAC Retro Matte collection:

So, this post is a quick look at some new purchases I got the last few weeks of September, start of October (I know it's late but better late than never!)
First up is the 2 lipsticks I got from the MAC Retro Matte collection:
All Fired Up is a bright red-pink matte lippie
Flatout Fabulous is a bright plum matte with a slight Fushia hint to it- a PERFECT twist to a typical autumn lipstick :)
Next up is my Naked Flushed Palette,
which I wouldn't have only the LEGEND that is Lorraine over at itsonlymakeupjohn.wordpress.com saved my bacon!
It's a blusher-bronzer-highlighter trio & it is just GORGEOUS!
I am in love with the highlighter that is in the palette.. The whole thing is perfect for making a contouring job look natural.
I am afraid I took these photos late at night so couldn't show what it looked like on my face but no doubt will be doing looks with it soon!
Lastly, I have a non-beauty related item.. THIS gorgeous necklace I got in River Island on me & the mammy's day trip out with the sister before she went Au revouir off to Le Harve!
It was €17 but I thought it such a unique piece- it's casual with the black ribbon to make it Saturday shopping wearable but the jewels & sparkle make it night out appropriate!
So, that's a quick post! I will be back to the blog soon with some more reviews, thanks to all you lovely folk for all the support you gave me the last few weeks when I was feeling low. From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful to know you all!
Talk soon my lovelies!
