Fanny Crown has dresses fit for a Queen!

Hey my lovelies!
How was your weekend? Hope it was a fun one whatever you got up to!
So, I am doing a non-beauty post today to tell you about this awesome dress site I heard about this week!
I was emailed by Amy, one of the lovely ladies from Fanny Crown in relation to a blogger competition. To enter to pick one of their (stunning) dresses & say how I would style the dress (jewellery, shoes, makeup, the works!) but I can't say how difficult it was to pick one dress from their collection as they are all so beautiful & classically timeless.
In the end THIS dress almost seemed like it was calling my name....

It is a beautiful royal blue evening dress with an elaborate silver sequence design across the bust of the dress that is just so elegant!

So, if I had this dress I would pair it with some silver sandals to bring out the silver in the top of the dress.. I love these sandals I got in a local shoe shop years ago, they are so comfy you can dance away to your heart's content in them!

For jewellery I would keep the necklace simple so as not to take away from the detail on the dress.
Something like this necklace would be perfect

The tiny sapphires would really compliment the royal blue & I am hopeless in love with all things pearl!
For arm bling I would wear this bracelet, as the necklace is quite simplistic in design the chunky bracelet is the statement piece & doesn't draw attention away from the detailing on the bust of the gown.

For earrings I think these would look stunning with an elegant upstyle, keeping the pearl and sapphire theme going

Finally this ring would compliment the other accessories...ok, so I really do have a thing for pearls! What can I say?!
For makeup, with this dress as it speaks volumes I would keep it very simple.
A simple dusty pink lip & a classic cat eye would do the elegance of this gown justice I think, with falsies and lashings of mascara (hehe! geddit?!)

Finally, hairstyle... when I saw this dress with the flower detailing I imagine a soft, lightly curled upstyle (think, Grecian princess means fairy queen..) and then I saw THIS hairstye on Blake Lively (who always has gorgeous hair)

So, there you have it! My styling of this beautiful royal blue gown from Fanny Crown. What do you think? Is there anything you would do differently, tell me in the comment box!

Also...have a little something for you my readers too! Fanny Crown are kindly giving you a 15% discount when you use the code  RARAGIGGLE14 and this code is valid until 16th March.

Until next time my lovelies,
Take care
