Gorgeousness in a box: NARS Dual Intensity Palette

Hi my lovelies!
I have a wee post on the blog today that may help banish the Monday blues..the NARS Dual Intensity Palette (available from Brown Thomas from €59)

As you would expect from NARS the packaging is pure sleek class, sturdy but snazzy. Then the real joy is when you look inside..

This palette contains 8 beautiful dual intensity shadows & a pretty nifty brush considering generally the brushes or applicators that come with palettes are useless. I actually am keeping this one which speaks volumes! The idea behind these is that they are simmerly & pretty as they are but that the real beauty is when you wet the brush & that's when they become intenser (is that a word?! It is now!)
Anyways, enough chit-chat, take a look for yourself!

These swatches as the top row of shadows. The long swatches are dry but the circular swatch is when the shadow is applied wet- for your comparison.
On row 1 we have a black, brown, a bronze, a very pale gold & a pinky champagne colour!

And this is the bottom row. On this row there is a white-silver, a grey gunmetal silver, a navy & a blackened aubergine.
As you can see from the grey silver shade the pigmentation becomes stronger when water is added!
I was a little nervous about adding water to the shadow even though they are formulated specially for it so just in case I only applied water to the corner of the shadow & I think I will keep the water application to that corner, just to make sure the shadow is not ruined.

So there you have it! Have you tried this palette? If so let me know what your favourite shade is!!

Until next post
Love & hugs
Sarah xx
