Velvet Touch with Ciate

Hey lovelies!
Ok, so I am in a rush to get chatting to you all as I want to tell you all about the awesome event I have at weekend that I will be blogging about!
But firstly, I want to tell you about this awesome product!!

Ok, just let me say straight up, that I am the most UN-CREATIVE, UN-IMAGINATIVE person EVER! (true story, ask my art teacher in first year!) so nail art, even nails in general, are not a strong point with me (too much painting- shaky hand, you get the picture!) So when I was browsing on the brilliant Irish website that is www.beautyemporium.ie-  run by the AMAZING Steph - and saw this I was link, hey even I could probably do this!
This. ladies, is the Ciate Velvet Manicure Set, in Berry Poncho (cute name!) and it is easy peasy lemon squeezy! And you can take my word for it!

What it invloves is painting on the polish provided in the kit - a fab raspberry pink - one coat to start with. Then, once its all dry, working on one nail at a time, you paint on another coat & while it is still wet you sprinkle on the velvet dustings as I like to call it!
Let it dry for 10 - 15 minutes before you do anything (this is the hardest part, honest!! I am so impateient with polish!

and then, volia! There you have it! It looks so classy, its simple nails vamped up for the Christmas season! And even the colour is too cute!

I am just sorry the pictures do not do this justice, you can't really capture they velvet look of it on camera!
This set comes in a dark blue - Blue Sued, and a off-creamy set - Mink Cashmere.
They are on  www.beautyemporium.ie for 19.50e but if you hurry over the lovely Steph has an EPIC deal on at minute! ;)

So, there you have it!

Now, my next post, hopefully, will be about this girlie day out a friend of mine planned - a vintage photo shoot!! I have never gotten professional photos taken outside of graduation so it will be awesome to get dressed up & get the hair & makeup did (vintage style too!). We all decided to go LBD and coloured shoes - each a different colour so I have orange?! Shall be interesting if nothing else! So, will tell you all about that next week!

Until next time, love & hugs!
Sarah xx
