All the Buzz Best of Beauty Challenge Week 5 - Princess Product

Hey lovelies!!
How are you all keeping? Hope your week is going well...you can all breath a sigh of relief, the weekend is nearly here (that was one long ass week!) - If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram you will know I had a little...mishap on Monday when I got a little dizzy while coming down some stairs & managed to badly sprain my ankle but it is much better and the swelling has gone down ALOT!

Emm.. Yeah, I am a little bit on the clumsy side aren't i?!

So this week was a review of our "Princess Product" (loved the blog post title by the way Samantha!), which basically means our favourite high end product. Straight up, I knew what I would be talking about & it is THIS wee beauty!

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Palette was a limited edition back around Christmas and as soon as I heard about it I knew I needed it.

I had heard so much about Hourglass Lighting Powders & with this you were getting to try 3 of them.
The idea behind the powder is that it is meant to make your skin look flawless - or to quote Hourglass (they put it far more fancily!)

"Powders capture, diffuse and soften the way light is reflected on skin, brighten the appearance, and conceal imperfections, pores and wrinkles. Unlike traditional powders that use opaque pigments, Ambient utilises "photoluminescent technology"-micron-size,soft-focus particles that refract light and create transparent coverage. Universal powders make them suitable for every skin tone"

Basically, its as close to a real life instagram filter you can get!

Anyways, enough chit-chat, on to the goods...

This is Dim light, which I dust lightly across my whole face to blur out my pores & give me a healthy glow

The second powder is Incandesant Light, a limited edition ambient powder specially designed for this palette. I use this as a highlighter as it has a subtle sparkle to it.

Finally, this is Radiant Light. On those days I need a light bronze or to contour this is perfect.

So there you have my princess product! Do you have this palette? Or have you tried any of the other ambient powders? They are ALL on my wish list!

Until next post take care

Love & hugs
Sarah xx
